Rachael Ray Makes Rare Public Appearance Amid Concern For Her Health
Rachael Ray was one of the most recognizable faces on television for years. Her popular cooking show, 30-Minute Meals, ran on Food Network for eleven years. She also started her own daytime talk show during that time. Rachael Ray aired for 17 seasons before it was abruptly canceled in 2023.
She launched a new production company, Free Food Studios, and took her cooking skills to social media platforms. Rachael Ray’s Meals in Minutes airs on the FYI network on traditional television and streams on YouTube, along with other cooking videos.
Rachael Ray is 58 now, so she obviously looks different than she did when she was younger. However, the loss of her mother in 2025 wasn’t easy on her and sparked a lot of concern for her health. Even though she makes regular appearances in her cooking videos, Rachael Ray doesn’t step out in public often.
She made a rare appearance at the Blue Moon Burger Bash in New York City on October 15. She co-hosted the event with comedian Burt Kreischer. The event was part of the annual Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival.

The festival’s founder, Lee Brian Schrager, served as judge to name the best burger. He shared several photos from the event on Instagram that included Burt Kreischer and Rachael Ray.
Rachael Ray also shared a video on her social media about an event at the NYCWFF. She revealed that she was competing in a Pad Thai cook-off. Lee Brian Schrager made the announcement with Rachael on stage earlier in the event. Fans took to the comments to gush over how nice it was to see the Food Network star thriving again.
