Ree is a blogger and media personality who first became known to audiences through her blog, The Pioneer Woman, which was launched in 2006. In 2011, she also became the host of a Food Network series of the same name.
In her personal life, Ree has been married to Ladd Drummond, a member of the wealthy Drummond ranching family, since 1996. They share five children together.
As previously reported, Drummond’s foster-son, Jamar Goff, was arrested back in September. At the time, he was facing charges of drug possession and assaulting a police officer. At the time, it was reported that he had checked into drug rehab just months prior to his arrest.

According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Goff received a 48-month suspended sentence for second degree assault. He was also given a 24-month suspended sentence for unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
In addition, Goff was also placed on 12 months of supervised probation, requiring him to complete a substance abuse evaluation and random drug testing. At the time, outlets had shared that he avoided jail time concerning the charges.

According to a release order, a judge had ordered Goff to be released from custody. At the time, he was also banned from the University of Alabama at Birmingham campus. Officials reportedly have no idea with the probation being transferred to Oklahoma.
Ree and Ladd became Goff’s foster parents in 2018 when he was a teenager. As Ree wrote on her blog in 2020, “We have a foster son now. His name is Jamar. I haven’t written or spoken publicly about him much, because for one thing, the state agency that handles fostering has strict rules against posting about foster children on social media, which I get. I’m now writing about Jamar because after a year-and-a-half of living in our house, he is an inextricable part of our wacky family, and it’s become increasingly strange for me not to talk about him.”
