RHOBH Teddi Mellencamp Admits Husband Was Unfaithful?
Teddi Mellencamp spent three years on RHOBH and seemed happily married to Edwin Arroyave. The two had three children by the time they left the series and two very successful businesses. Plus, they became very close to Kyle Richards and her husband, Mauricio Umansky. He is even their real estate agent for their Hollywood Hills home which is currently up for rent. Yet, did Teddi and Edwin face some similar struggles as Kyle and Mauricio? Currently, Richards and Umansky’s marital problems are playing out in Season 13 and they have ultimately separated.
It also appeared that he was having a romantic fling with his DWTS partner, Emma Slater. According to Starcasm, when Kyle was asked about her struggles, Teddi seemed to understand. She had this to say: “My first season I was hiding something with Edwin and I 99% thought our marriage wasn’t going to make it.” This was elusive and it was unclear exactly what she meant. Eventually, she did clarify what she meant on her podcast, Two Ts In A Pod. Speaking to Tamra Judge, she said this:
“For years I had so much resentment towards Edwin and it was to the point where I couldn’t even look at him. And the fact that we’ve been able to work through it has been huge. But like once you’ve been burned it’s really hard to come back——”
That led Tamra to ask if she had been cheated on and she replied that the photos Kyle had seen, presumably of Emma and Mauricio, were triggering. Previously, Teddi Mellencamp shared that she was very close to divorcing Edwin in her first season on the show. However, she had to find her self-worth in order to be able to move forward with the marriage, which she did.
A Happier Place
Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Arroyave did find their sweet spot and found out they were pregnant in her final season of RHOBH. They later welcomed their daughter, Dove, who had a neurological problem so they went through that together. Plus, Teddi has faced skin cancer so that was another struggle. Now, they seem to be in a great place. Hopefully, it will stay that way but the show seems to be a curse for couples. Another one that is in limbo is Dorit Kemsley and PK who may or may not be splitting. Time will tell on that one.
