‘RHOC’ Alum Calls Time Of Death On Franchise Amid Season 20

- Advertisment -

The Season 20 trailer for The Real Housewives of Orange County has just dropped, and fans have mixed reactions. It has been a long and crazy run, but it should be a thrill to have Vicki Gunvalson back as a full-time cast member. At the same time, one RHOC alum cannot help but feel that this is the end for the franchise. Keep reading for more details on what is giving them that impression.

Season 20 Of RHOC Should Be Iconic

Viewers are more than ready for Season 20 of RHOC, mainly because it started the Housewives ball rolling. Moreover, fans will see the return of Vicki Gunvalson, and many past cast members from the early years will make cameo appearances. At the same time, some alums feel that this could be the end of the hit Bravo reality series. Therefore, they are speaking out and not holding back, starting with Katie Ginella. She and her new podcast co-host have already stated that they have dirt on Emily Simpson, and all will be revealed when Season 20 begins.

Along with Katie, show alum Kelly Dodd has been back in the news, trashing the series. She has nothing positive to say about the ladies, and now she is equating the new season to a “funeral.” Granted, the ladies are posing with their oranges whilst wearing all black, so it does look ominous. Kelly made a video and started out by asking these questions:

“Is this irony? I don’t know. Is this the demise of the franchise? Is this the funeral?”

She then noted that she knows Bravo can be shady, but added that this was a touch too dark. Moreover, Kelly had this to say about the RHOC Season 20 promo:

“But I think they put all these people like they’re going to a funeral. They’re all going to a funeral. I think this is the end. And by the way, this has been a great run. This has been a great run for everyone.”

Kelly Dodd did try to make it clear that she was allegedly not “jealous.” However, it was not coming off like that despite her praising the “tres amigas” that are Shannon Beador, Tamra Judge, and Vicki Gunvalson.

Ditch The Black, Bravo

Those who saw what Kelly Dodd had to say about the Season 20 RHOC promo could not help but agree. They felt that it was an ominous intro and the black was a tad too dark:

  • Wearing black to their own funeral !!
  • Ya I’m not a fan of the black dooms day lol
  • They are boring, I don’t know why Bravo doesn’t listen to the fans.
  • The death of the housewives

However, others believed that Kelly needed to let it go and that she was overly jealous, wanting her orange back:

  • Why are you so obsessed ?? Let it go now girl
  • Shut up Kelly your envy is just never ending. It’s 20 years. It’s a celebration. It’s black tie. That’s why they’re dressed in black go lay down.

Hopefully, this season will deliver what fans want, but time will tell. What do you think of the RHOC ladies wearing black, and is it too ominous? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
