Gina Kirschenheiter’s first marriage ended after a shocking incident of domestic violence. She initially filed for divorce from Matt Kirschenheiter in 2018. They briefly reconciled before he was arrested the following year on domestic violence charges. They officially divorced in 2019. She met Travis Mullen that same year.
Gina and Travis hit a bumpy patch in Season 18 when she asked him to move out of their home amid tension in their blended family. They each have three children. The couple eventually moved back in together. He proposed on New Year’s Eve 2025.

She shared her thoughts on Gina Kirschenheiter’s engagement on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. Emily Simpson revealed the answer to the biggest question fans have. She said that Gina and her fiance have a prenup in place for when they marry. But when will that be?
Gina Kirschenheiter admitted on WWHL earlier this month that marrying Travis Mullen is the least of her concerns at the moment. Her focus is on securing her financial future and getting her kids through school. It could be ten years or longer before she’s ready to tie the knot.
Emily Simpson thinks that’s a crazy timeline.
“[Gina] was super excited about the engagement, and she’s super excited about the ring. And she’s like super excited to show people the ring. She has two now, but then when you ask her about, like, the wedding planning or when the wedding is, then it just fizzles,” Emily Simpson said.
She added that it wasn’t “fair” to Travis. I don’t want her to be excited just about the ring but then not have that same excitement about planning the wedding and picking a date and going through with it.”
