Rosie O’Donnell has made her disdain for President Trump clearer than day. The feeling is mutual after a feud ignited between the two decades ago. Most of the people she’s friends with are anti-Trump. However, the former The View host revealed which of her celebrity friends still support President Trump and his policies. Keep reading for the surprising answer.
Rosie O’Donnell Ready To Take Over For Jimmy Kimmel
Before he was President, Donald Trump had a good relationship with the press. However, that relationship has soured since his 2016 win. Talk shows like The View and Jimmy Kimmel Live! use the President and his administration for fodder.

Both shows have come under fire from the FCC. Jimmy Kimmel was suspended from his late-night talk show in September 2025. His suspension was for his comments on Charlie Kirk’s death. However, President Trump called for him to be fired several times.
For now, ABC is standing by Jimmy Kimmel. But that could change at any time. The comedian is on his annual summer vacation with various celebrity guest hosts.
Rosie O’Donnell takes over the show for a week beginning on Monday, August 17. And she doesn’t plan to hold back on dissing President Trump. She revealed that she plans on “giving it to him in a comedic, honest, truthful way.”
She Reveals Which Celebrity Friend Supports President Trump
Rosie O’Donnell is reportedly in talks to return to The View for its upcoming milestone Season 30. She would fit right in with the current hosts. Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin are all anti-Trump, regardless of their political parties.
Rosie O’Donnell spoke out about how most of her celebrity friends agree with her on President Trump. However, there’s one who still supports him but she gives that friend “grace.” “Now, I am friends with Wynonna Judd, who I love very much, and I’ve known her for many, many years. And she is a supporter of Trump. And somehow, we never bring it up,” the comedian said on Kyle Ridley’s The Tangle podcast.

“She’s had so much in her life with her mom taking her own life and just the complicated nature of her upbringing. And I really love her, and I care about her, and, for some reason, I’m able to put that aside when we interact,” Rosie O’Donnell explained. Wynonna and her sister, Ashley, lost their mother, Naomi Judd, to suicide in 2022.
She Credits Trump For Making Her ‘Re-Famous’
Rosie O’Donnell has been famous for over 40 years. Like many celebrities, her fame dwindled a little in recent years. She moved to Ireland in 2025 after Trump was reelected. He threatened to revoke her citizenship. However, that didn’t play a role in her decision to return to the U.S. for the summer. She has multiple gigs lined up, including an off-Broadway one-woman show.
Rosie O’Donnell admits Trump revived her career
“I feel like recently I’m re-famous… I told my kids, ‘Well, kids, hold on, ’cause mommy’s re-famous.’”
“I think it’s Mango Mussolini. I think it’s him who did it.”

She gave credit to President Trump for reviving her career. “I told my kids, well kids, hold on ’cause mommy’s re-famous. I don’t know how it happened. I think it’s Mango Mussolini,” she said on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast.
She added, “I think it’s him who did it. He didn’t know. If he knew how much he was helping my career and my life, he would shut up about me because, you know, he’s a horrible creature.”
