ABC is making some big changes on Shark Tank once again for Season 18. The reality competition series is bringing in some fresh blood to the full-time and guest shark roster.
Here’s everything we know about Shark Tank Season 18 so far.
Who will star in Shark Tank Season 18?
Returning as permanent sharks for the series are: real estate tycoon Barbara Corcoran; cybersecurity technology inventor Robert Herjavec; investor and inventor Lori Greiner; fashion branding legend Daymond John; KIND founder Daniel Lubetzky; and venture capitalist Kevin O’Leary. There are two more former guest sharks who are becoming series regulars in Season 18 alongside them, though: Kendra Scott, the lifestyle mogul who has been guesting on the show since Season 12, and Rashaun Williams, from Harbinger Sports and who first debuted in Season 16.
Meanwhile, the list of guest sharks has also been revealed on the show’s social media channels. The list includes Jimmy Donaldson, who is best known as internet superstar MrBeast; Jeffrey Housenhold, CEO of Beast Industries; Hollywood star Mindy Kaling; former NFL player J.J. Watt; Favorite Daughter cofounders Erin and Sara Foster; and Steven Bartlett from Dragons’ Den, the U.K.’s Shark Tank, and Diary of a CEO host.
When will Shark Tank Season 18 premiere?
An exact premiere date has not yet been revealed by ABC, but it will return to its now-regular timeslot of Wednesday nights at 10/9c this fall on the network. Episodes will stream on Hulu.
Which brands will compete on Shark Tank Season 18?
ABC has not revealed which fledgling businesses will be vying for the sharks’ investments this season, but fans can count on many scrappy upstarts to make their pitches throughout the new season.
Of that process, Williams previously told TV Insider, “This is like the NFL Draft… I don’t have to go through 10,000 pitch decks to narrow it down to 10 companies. They do it for me. I get to sit next to people who are entrepreneurs and some of the best investors in the country, asking questions that I don’t get to ask. And I get to see the reaction of entrepreneurs after I invest, which I’ve never seen before. And I sometimes cry, and I’m emotional about it, and I mean, this is a platform that I can take the financial literacy that I’ve been teaching for 25 years to the masses, because I love to teach, but the way my bank account is set up, I can’t afford to be a teacher, so now I get to do both.”
