Order up! Shifting Gears fans think that Beth Behrs will appear on Season 3 of the ABC show after hints were dropped in a new video.
“Hello, we are back to shooting Season 3 of Shifting Gears,” Kat Dennings, who plays Riley Parker, said in an Instagram video post on August 17. The actress held onto her script as she walked across the set.
“Oh, coming!” she said to someone off camera. “There’s a very special secret announcement.” When Dennings left the scene, she threw her script on the living room table. On top of it was a check that would be given at a restaurant that said: “Stay Tuned 2 Find Out.”
“Don’t forget to tip your servers… *winking emoji*. Stay tuned for a very special #ShiftingGearsABC announcement!” the post was captioned.
Dennings and Behrs played waitresses in the CBS comedy, 2 Broke Girls, for six seasons. Due to Dennings being in the video, when Matt (Tim Allen) is the lead, the “coming!” and the check, fans believe that Behrs will make a guest appearance in the upcoming season.
Behrs just ended her time on The Neighborhood, which ran for eight seasons on CBS, so now is the perfect time to bring her in and cook up some nostalgia. Allen usually has his past costars on the show, so it’s time to spread the wealth.

Others think that Garrett Morris, who played Earl, could make an appearance as Stitch’s (Daryl “Chill” Mitchell) father. The 89-year-old had a cameo appearance in Season 7 of The Neighborhood. Season 3 of Shifting Gears won’t air until early 2027, but shooting is already underway.
