It was not an easy decision to leave Kody Brown and plural marriage. Yet, Janelle Brown saw how her former sister-wife, Christine Brown Woolley, was thriving. Moreover, she knew that there was no way she and Kody would ever be able to reconcile. Therefore, the Sister Wives star was ready to leave the family and Flagstaff, Arizona, and try a new life in North Carolina. She has been thriving ever since, even getting a spiritual release from Kody, but she was not ready to date right away. Before Season 21 began, Janelle debuted a new man named Pete.
They have been going strong, and he will be featured on Sister Wives. Pete is from Las Vegas, and the two are in a long-distance relationship. However, Janelle has now made it clear to Pete that he is trapped. The couple sat outside on her porch in a clip that Pete shared on his social media. In the caption, he wrote:

He then told the camera that he could see them doing this for another five years. To that, Janelle Brown responded:
“Oh no. Let’s say 30.”
Pete clapped back with six, but that was not enough for Janelle, who again said thirty. He finally agreed to thirty, but Janelle would only accept it if they were in their “rocking chairs.”
After the OG3 left Kody Brown, Christine Brown Woolley was the first and only to get remarried. Former first wife Meri Brown was dating, but now she is just finding her footing. Finally, Janelle gave in and Pete landed in her lap.
