Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard was shocked by the unapproved breakup message sent out by her now-former fiance. She and Carl Radke called off their engagement at the end of August. As it turns out, they also called off their wedding leaving no chance for reconciliation. Yet, it was the announcement that Radke shared that has Hubbard up in arms. Read on for more details.
Summer House Lindsay Hubbard Shocked By Unapproved Breakup Message
It has been hard for Lindsay Hubbard to deal with the split from Carl Radke. The two had been together since 2019 after a three year friendship. Though they had a brief breakup, the two got back together and ended up engaged, planning a Mexico wedding. Sadly, this would never happen and it has broken Lindsay’s heart. What she did not expect was for Radke to send anything formal out about their ending without her consent. Per Page Six, Hubbard did not approve the breakup message that her ex opted to share with those closest to them.
A source had this to say: “Lindsay did not approve of Carl’s letter before it was made public, so there is no ‘we.’ She’s definitely hurt by it, for sure.” So, what exactly did Carl’s message say?
“Words cannot possibly express how difficult the last two weeks have been for Lindsay and I. We are so incredibly sorry to all of our guests for the confusion and lack of communication. We were left trying to figure out how this all exactly happened before we could even have the opportunity to determine the path forward amongst ourselves.”
Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard have yet to say what transpired to cause the breakup. However, Carl claimed that he did know that there were some false stories curculating. At the same time, he shared that they were both hurt by the whole situation and asked for time to heal. Clearly, they are not on the same page and Lindsay would have wanted to do this together when the time was right for both of them.
What’s Next?
The Summer House star also apologized in his memo for all of the money and time people may have put into attending the wedding. Being that it was a destination wedding meant that it was an expense and he knew that. Additionally, Carl offered to assist with the financial burdens some may have incured. As of now, the breakup is said to play out on the next season of the hit Bravo reality series. Maybe then fans will get some answers as to what went wrong.
