Fans have seen the McBee family go through a number of issues over the past few years. As The McBee Dynasty returns for a third season, one member of the family, Cole McBee, opened up about what it was like filming the show during this time. Through it all, he also teased that there was a more positive moment that fans would get to enjoy.
Fans Will See The McBee Dynasty Make Its Debut On June 15, 2026
The McBee Dynasty first made its debut in 2024. The docuseries focuses on the titular family as they run their farming and cattle business in rural Missouri.
During the show’s second season, it had moved to Bravo. The third season is set to debut on June 15, 2026. However, one member of the family, Cole McBee, has already discussed issues while filming for the season.

As cameras were rolling for the third season, family patriarch Steve McBee received his prison sentence for federal crop insurance fraud in 2025. He ultimately received a sentence of 24 months in prison with a two-year supervised release afterwards. He will also have to pay over $4 million in restitution.
Despite all that happened, Steve’s son Cole thought it was important to keep the series going in spite of what he described as “tough times.” Speaking with TV Insider, Cole shared, “Since the beginning, we’ve wanted to put everything out there.”
“We’ve been really authentic and that’s kind of what we built our show on, good or bad. We just wanted to embrace it and put out our story and show everybody … this sucks.”
Cole Also Teased One Happy Moment Involving Him & Kacie Adkison
“It’s a big deal, but we are going through real-life struggles. We just wanted to put the truth out there and show what battles we’re facing and how we’re working through them and how we’re getting through everything together as a family.”
Interestingly, when asked if there was anything that he wasn’t looking forward to watching back this season, Cole admitted, “The first two seasons.” At the time, he felt that there were things he did or said he didn’t want to be reminded of.

Cole also shared that there were other issues the family had faced during this time, such as the “different direction” the business was taking. At this time, the family has focused more on ranching, instead of forming or row cropping.
Cole ultimately noted that there will be things that won’t be fun for him to watch. However, he felt that “We’ll get through it.”
Cole also teased that fans will see a more positive moment on the show: his proposal to Kacie Adkison. He shared, “It was such a cool night. Kacie really deserved something special and I think she loved it. It was a special night. It will be cool for everyone to watch that.”
