He had so much mountain left to climb! A The Price Is Right contestant impressed fans with his Cliff Hangers win, which resulted in him taking home $10,000.
Electer Davis won the first item up for bid on June 26. His game was reposted to Instagram on August 19. “His math was mathin’ #PriceIsRight,” the post was captioned.
He bid $595 on a 42mm Apple Watch Series 10. He had the lowest bid, and since the watch was $699, with the next highest bid at $780, Davis won the watch and got to play a game for an additional prize.
In this case, the game show contestant got to play Cliff Hangers for $10,000. The first item he had to guess the price of was a stainless steel onion dicer. David said it was $25. He was wrong, and the mountain climber went up six spaces, making it $19.
“You’re in great shape, still,” host Drew Carey said.
The next item was a decibel meter. David guessed that it was $35, and he was correct, so the climber did not move up the mountain at all.
The last item was an iron and steamer. He had $19 to be off by. Davis guessed that the last item was $45.
He was not right, so the climber went up the mountain. However, he only stopped at nine because he was three digits off, making the iron and steamer $48.
The contestant threw his hands up and waved them in a circle. He then walked over to model Amber Lancaster, high-fived her, and then made a lasso shape with his hand in the air as he jumped.
“$10,000. What a way to start the show!” Carey said. Davis went over to high-five the other model, Alexis Gaube, who cheered and clapped for him.
Fans reacted to his win on Instagram. “Wow! He nailed it! Only off by $9 for all three items combined! Now that’s a player,” one said.
“WWWEEELLLLL… when u right u right…” another wrote.
“Wow! What a game,” a third added. Davis spun a 1.20 on the wheel, so he did not advance to the Showcase.
