However, cameras caught an unexpected moment between the Presidents. Trump showed off the “Presidential Wall of Fame” to the visiting President. The display in the West Wing colonnade features portraits of the 47 Presidents. But instead of a photo of President Joe Biden, Trump put up a picture of an autopen. President Trump has long claimed that his predecessor’s aides used the autopen to sign documents without Biden’s knowledge.
“Trump, and then Trump, and then this is the autopen…it’s Biden,” President Trump was heard explaining to President Xi Jinping as they viewed the Wall of Fame. Laughter could be heard in response to Trump’s joke.

The clip of the interaction went viral after the official White House social media accounts shared it. But Alyssa Farah Griffin didn’t find the joke very funny. She reposted the video and added her unfiltered thoughts on the diss.
“An American President mocking another American President to the communist leader of China is….gross and unAmerican,” The View host wrote on Twitter. She had the comments turned off on the post.
However, the reactions to the White House trolling President Biden were divided along party lines. Many Democrats called out the administration for the unprofessional and petty post. However, President Trump’s supporters thought it was hilarious. President Biden didn’t respond to the latest insult. However, he previously denied the allegations that his aides used his autopen signature without his permission.
President Xi Jinping left the United States on Friday, September 25, 2026, after the diplomatic visit. He said that he would welcome a visit from President Trump and the First Lady.
