Tiffany Haddish Avoided Booze At The Event, Why?
When you get this many Hollywood A-Listers and movers and shakers under one roof, the bubbly is always flowing as the pocketbooks open to donate more cash. However, Haddish surprisingly side-stepped all the booze and avoided it altogether while at this big event.
With Haddish choosing to abstain from alcohol, many fans and followers are curious as to why that might be. Insiders at the event even overheard her saying that she was “trying to get pregnant.”
Of course, as a comedian, this could very easily be taken as a tongue-in-cheek remark from Tiffany Haddish. Sources told Page Six that she used that excuse multiple times over the course of the evening, leading many to believe that there just might be some truth to this.
The comedian and actor is 44 years old. It’s certainly possible she could be trying for a baby. If so, that’s a valid reason to not partake in spirits.
Tiffany Haddish Had A DUI
Tiffany Haddish was charged with a DUI after falling asleep behind the wheel of a car that wasn’t moving. It was, however, blocking a roadway in Beverly Hills, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Hadish’s reasons for abstaining from alcohol could be two-fold. On the one hand, her recent DUI could still be leaving a bad taste in her mouth, with that being an experience she most likely doesn’t want to repeat. On the other hand, it’s certainly possible that she could be trying for a baby as well. A third possibility is she was making a joke about trying for a baby, as she is a comedian after all.
Whatever her reasoning might be, she clearly knocked it out of the park with her hosting duties for Elton John’s big fundraising event, and she also seemed to have a good time while doing it. If she does announce a pregnancy at some point down the line, that would be proof that she is, in fact, trying for a baby. Otherwise, this could simply be the reason she chose to tell everyone when they eventually asked her why she decided not to partake in alcohol at the event.
