The original movie was made in 1947. The movie was filmed at the historic Biltmore House, one of the most splendid locations.

However, the studio is not satisfied with Lucy’s ending. That is because her script “deviates from the original’s feel-good conclusion.” Therefore, he sends her to the Biltmore to inspire her. This research could help her write the ending this remake deserves.

When Lucy arrives at the Biltmore Estate, Winston, an employee at the venue, shows her around the magnificent property.

“While there, she unwittingly discovers the ability to travel to the 1947 set of HIs Merry Wife! through the help of an hourglass.”

“While on set, she and Jack Huston, one of the film’s stars, spend time together and become close. But her sudden appearance has set off a chain of events that put the production in jeopardy.”
