More than two decades ago, Deadliest Catch premiered on the Discovery Channel in April 2005. The show follows fishermen seeking crab in the Bering Sea, battling rough waters and unpredictable weather patterns while leaving their families at home for weeks at a time throughout the crab fishing season.
The current Deadliest Catch captains are Rick Shelford, Jake Anderson, Sig Hansen, Keith Colburn, and Johnathan Hillstrand. Many of these men have been around on the show since its early days.
There are several cast members who have moved on and are no longer filming the Discovery Channel series, though. With Deadliest Catch in the midst of its 22nd season, we’re taking stock of what some of these men are up to today.
