Moriah Plath undergoes a major life change.

In a preview for Tuesday night’s episode, Moriah confronts her father, Barry Plath, and lets him know that there’s something big she wants to do. She says, “This is gonna come as a shock, but I want to be baptized.”

In response, Barry asks her if she’s been considering this for a while and says he thinks it would be “really good.”

Then, Moriah admits that she has tried to live her life on her own for the past few years. But now, she thinks she can’t do it without Jesus.

In a confessional, she explains that she got baptized when she was around eight years old. Today, she believes that she only got baptized then because her sisters were doing it and she thought it looked “fun.” She admits that it wasn’t a choice she made as a kid and that she didn’t fully understand it back then.

She admits, “God never felt real in my life until I hit rock bottom…until I realized I can’t do it alone.”

In a confessional, Barry says, “I am so happy. Early on, we just raised our children to love God and to be his.”

He acknowledges the fact that some of his kids have taken their own paths and haven’t followed God closely while growing up.

The Welcome to Plathville dad added that it’s “awesome to see” that his daughter is “back with God.”
