Wheel of Fortune is wrapping up its latest season. However, fans are already anticipating what’s going to happen next on the show. Of course, there are already a few clues about what Season 44 will be like.
Wheel Of Fortune Has Been On The Air For Nearly 50 Years
Wheel of Fortune has been on the air since 1975. Over the years, the series has bounced back and forth between different networks, often NBC and CBS.
In 2024, fans saw Ryan Seacrest take on hosting duties for the show, taking over for long-running host Pat Sajak. Working alongside him is his co-host, Vanna White, who has been part of the show since 1982.

Season 43 wraps up with a June 5 finale. The season had proven to be a memorable one, with Seacrest seeing his first $1 million winner. Contestant Christina Derevjanik made series history as the highest winner with $1,035,155.
However, fans are still wondering just what to expect from Season 44. According to TV Insider, an official premiere date hasn’t been announced just yet. However, the outlet already eyed September as a ballpark guess.
As it was noted, the show normally debuts new seasons on the Monday after Labor Day. This year, that would be September 14. That said, this would be a rather late start, especially as Season 43 started on September 8.
Ten New Episodes Of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune Are Also Right Around The Corner
Fans can expect to see Seacrest and White to stay on the show for quite some time. The series has been renewed up to Season 45, with both hosts confirmed for both of the upcoming seasons.
As the series is syndicated, it airs on different stations at different times throughout the country. That said, the past seven episodes of the current season are available for streaming on Hulu and Peacock.

With the renewal, it also isn’t too late to appear on the show. Wheel of Fortune holds online auditions throughout the year. Typically, fans are encouraged to apply directly online.
In addition, during the show’s hiatus, ten new episodes of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune will soon make their debut. They will premiere exclusively on Disney+ and Hulu on June 12.
Some celebs attached for the season include singer Jordin Sparks, actor Brian Austin Green, and members of the World Series-winning Los Angeles Dodgers, including Freddie Freeman, Kiké Hernández, and Miguel Rojas. Another season of the show is expected to air on ABC this upcoming fall. Of course, when it comes to both versions of the show, fans will need to tune in to see what happens next.
