Bachelor Mansion Takeover is proving to be just as dramatic as the other shows in The Bachelor franchise.
Hosted by Jesse Palmer, the HGTV competition series follows 12 former contestants from The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, The Golden Bachelor, and The Golden Bachelorette as they give the franchise’s iconic setting a much-needed makeover.
“In each episode, the competitors will take bold design risks, form alliances and face shocking eliminations all while being evaluated on their creativity and craftsmanship by the series’ judges Tayshia Adams and Tyler Cameron who will be joined by a surprise guest judge from Bachelor Nation or the HGTV family,” the show’s official description reads. “In the end, only one Bachelor alum will win bragging rights and a $100,000 cash prize.”
Episode 3 — which aired on Monday, March 16 — began with the reveal of which team member Brendan Morais chose to send home after losing the Rose Room design challenge. The cast later split into two groups to tackle the different halves of the Bachelor Mansion’s picturesque pool area.
Noah Erb, Joan Vassos, Allyshia Gupta, and Courtney Robertson Preciado‘s “wellness retreat” makeover scored them the episode’s win. Out of the remaining contestants, the group chose to save Sam McKinney, who was then forced to pick one of his fellow teammates to save. The episode ended with two more eliminations.
