Insiders close to TJ Holmes and Amy Robach reveal their relationship may not survive. They’re reportedly suffering as they deal with the fallout of their respective careers. Last week, ABC confirmed they’re not returning to Good Morning America.

The network suspended the duo from the morning show amid an internal investigation into their relationship. Eric Schiffer, the Chairman of Reputation Management Consultants, spoke to The U.S. Sun about what could happen to their relationship.

He doesn’t represent TJ Holmes and Amy Robach. However, he feels that they could breakup because of the scandal that affected them personally and professionally. This comes after Eric previously admitted they should share their love story in a follow-up interview.

“I’m sure that their relationship is suffocating on some levels because to go from such a high of romantic excitement and co-appearing on the same show successfully to a grisly ending is really tough emotionally,” Eric told The U.S. Sun. “I’m sure they both have questions about if they made the right move.”

TJ Holmes is still married to Marilee Fiebig. He filed for divorce from the immigration attorney in late December 2022. They were together for 11 years and share a nine-year-old daughter, Sabine. Meanwhile, Amy is married to Andrew Shue. The two haven’t filed for divorce as of yet. They were together for 12 years.

Talk about a bad romance. Eric feels that their romance could fall apart due to the events that unfolded with ABC. TJ Holmes was accused of allegedly having multiple affairs behind the set of the show. This alone could impact their relationship.

“They have been devastated over what was a whirlwind romance turned apocalyptic because … the thing that they love, the entertainment and news side has now gone ‘Kaboom’,” Eric told the outlet. “They will need to decide how to pick up the pieces from the destruction and try to turn it positive.”

While he believes the pair isn’t “toast,” he thinks they will work at another network. He has faith their careers will survive. Eric just doesn’t see the two working together on the same network ever again. It’s also likely that they could end up with their own podcast or YouTube platform.
