Netflix Adds Digital Publisher Youtube Series

First announced last month and launching today, August 3rd, Netflix has lifted the curtain on The Culture Edit—its massive new content hub that once again changes the game for what we expect to stream on Netflix.

Netflix has officially teamed up with the biggest digital publishers in the world to bring thousands of their most viral, fan-favorite videos straight to your TV and mobile devices. Spanning food, travel, fashion, design, wellness, and pop culture, the new hub seamlessly integrates short-form digital content into Netflix’s tile system, though it has a few drawbacks, as we’ll discuss in another article today.

However, top line. Starting today, members in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand can access “The Culture Edit” via a dedicated row on the Netflix homepage or directly from the content bar.

“Members don’t just want to watch a show or film and move on – they want to keep exploring the stories and personalities they love long after the final credits roll,” said John Derderian, Vice President of Animation Series + Kids & Family TV, who is spearheading this initiative. “These partnerships help us deepen fandom and create more ways for members to carry those stories with them throughout their day.”

Culture Edit Row In Netflix

The Culture Edit row on Netflix

Whether it’s 3-minute quick hits or 20-minute deep dives, there is an absolute mountain of content dropping today. We’ve done the math, and this initial wave brings at least a staggering 5,700 episodes across more than 240 series formats to the service (and counting). The majority of these have launched with “Greatest Hits” collections or “Deep Cuts” collections with episodes ranging anywhere from a handful all the way up to a hundred-plus in the case of titles like The PEOPLE Interview, The LadyLike Show, Food Swaps, or, in the case of Billboard News Interviews, there are 328 episodes at launch.

Per Netflix, many of these will now be updated with fresh uploads over time.

Because that is a lot of content to dig through, What’s on Netflix has built a special library page that catalogs all 240+ titles in addition to Netflix’s own dedicated category. You can search, sort, and filter through all of The Culture Edit titles right here. You can sort by brand and partner for now, but we’re looking to add genres if it proves popular.

Here is the complete, exclusive breakdown of every single digital publisher, brand, and series that you can stream in The Culture Edit right now:
