The Bachelor alum Susie Evans has revealed what she’s looking for in her next partner beyond someone who’s compatible with her lifestyle and goals.

Susie revealed in December that she’d like to find a man who’s compatible with her and is “uniquely” himself with a bit of quirkiness to his personality.

But Susie just expanded on her list in a recent Q&A with her followers on Instagram Stories, according to BachelorNation.com.

When a fan asked Susie what she wants in a relationship, Susie posted a blurry photo of herself and wrote, “Just someone who can keep me in focus in a photo. Joking.”

Susie continued on a serious note, “Someone who is loyal, kind, funny, creative, has a strong moral compass, and is a good leader.”

Susie admitted she’s “low key” tired of “doing everything” for herself these days.

“I want someone who has it together, will offer to get the car when it’s raining, and is a gentleman,” the wedding videographer explained.

“I want someone who knows I’m strong and independent AF, but also wants to consider and care for me, so sometimes I can just live and not survive.”

Susie then added a P.S. and shared, “I will also offer to go get the car when it’s raining too! I’m just tired today ha!”

Susie has been single for about four months after announcing her split from Season 26 The Bachelor star Clayton Echard in September.

While Susie has said she’s ready to date again, she’s apparently taking her time.

Earlier this month, Susie admitted she’s “cautious” while testing the dating waters during an appearance on the “Click Bait with Bachelor Nation” podcast.

“I haven’t been out on any dates yet,” Susie disclosed.

“I have spent some intentional time with people, but I’ve been really cautious about where I’m spending my energy and my time. I’ve definitely hung out with people and thought there could be potential, but I have been so busy. I’ve also been traveling so much.”

Based on her Instagram account, Susie recently visited London and has made stops around the United States, including California.

Susie currently lives in Virginia Beach but is in the process of moving to Los Angeles for a fresh start after her split from Clayton and to further her career as a wedding videographer.

“I haven’t met anybody in Virginia, and I don’t want to meet anyone in Virginia because I’m moving to the West Coast and don’t want to try to be convinced otherwise,” Susie explained on “Click Bait.”

Susie said she’s just been “hanging out” and “hoping that when the timing is right,” she’ll meet “the right person.”

“[I hope dating] will naturally mesh into my life and won’t feel like too much effort or work. I am cruising right now hoping that the right person will pop up and appear into my life,” Susie said.

Susie told Elite Daily last month that she’s “ready to be with somebody and commit to that person” but she doubts she’ll find her future husband through The Bachelor franchise.

“I do want to find my person, and I do want to have a family. As much as [life after The Bachelor] has been a roller coaster, it’s also been very healing, and I’ve been able to grow so much,” Susie said.

During that same interview, Susie confessed that Clayton — whom she admittedly wasn’t “compatible” with — wasn’t even her “type” physically.

“As much as I adored Clayton and 100 percent enjoyed everything about him when I was dating him, I would not say that’s my type at all,” Susie revealed in December, adding how she likes aforementioned unique and quirky men.

The wedding videographer also explained to Us Weekly in December that she plans to date a man in private for a while before sharing her relationship with the world considering a romance becomes more complicated in the public eye.

Susie dumped Clayton at the Final Rose Ceremony of The Bachelor’s 26th season, but they reconnected and reconciled in the real world.

By the time The Bachelor: After the Final Rose aired on ABC in March 2022, the couple was in love and Clayton had decided he’d be moving to Virginia to be with his girlfriend.

But The Bachelor fans began to suspect there was trouble in paradise between Susie and Clayton in August 2022, when Clayton revealed on an episode of Amanda Hirsch’s “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast that the couple had decided to stop living together and move to different states.

Clayton chose Scottsdale, AZ, as his new home, and Susie planned to move to Los Angeles. Susie, however, never made the plunge and stayed close to her family and friends for the end of 2022 and the holidays.

Clayton and Susie explained in Fall 2022 that they broke up because neither person felt stable or fully emotionally supported in the relationship due to their insecurities and outside pressure from Bachelor Nation to be a perfect couple.

Clayton shared how it felt nearly impossible to pour into his relationship with Susie when he didn’t even know what he wanted out of life and where his future was headed.

The couple also confirmed how dealing with backlash from Bachelor Nation — including death threats sent to Clayton — was a big factor in why they had issues and ultimately parted ways.

“I was trying to figure out what my next step was [and] I started questioning who I was because of all the negativity,” Clayton said.

He added, “I started to believe some of what was being said about me. And I now look back at it and realize, like, I couldn’t be that stable, secure man that I needed to be to really be able to give my all in a relationship.”

Clayton said he felt the need to rehab his image and please others, all the while trying to get over death threats and handle problems in his relationship, such as wrongly being accused of cheating on Susie.

The pair recently became friends again, with Clayton asking Susie to read and edit a draft of his new book.

Clayton teased late last year there’s a possibility he and Susie may get back together down the road, but Susie had apparently moved on — and Clayton recently determined he and Susie just aren’t each other’s “person.”
