Big Brother Spoilers: Do the Icons Have the Votes to Save One of Their Own?

Angela, Dee, and Devens have had control of the game for so long that Big Brother has been growing stale.

They started the season with an advantage, as only they were competing in the first Head of Household competition.

That allowed them to form connections and create alliances to keep them safe.

When they were already in danger, Devens had a Diamond Power of Veto to save Dee, and then Angela won a Big Brother Blockbuster to save herself.

But everything has changed over the last few days, thanks to Drew winning Head of Household.

Drew has been loyal to the veterans to a fault, but he had to put one of them on the block this week.

He initially nominated LaTrice, Taylor, and Yash for eviction, and then realized that he would have to get his hands messy when Yash won the Power of Veto.

After some back-and-forth, Drew settled on Devens as the replacement nominee.

Initially, Devens was vocal about wanting to win the Big Brother Blockbuster competition, but then realized that being on the block would hurt his game.

Devens is in Danger on Big Brother

How did anyone think it was a good idea to put one of the biggest targets on the game on the block without sending them home?

Drew didn’t seem to think about this, but Barrett sure did.

Barrett has been closely aligned with the veterans throughout Big Brother Season 28, but he’s slowly realized that he’s near the bottom of the totem pole.

This season has practically been a steamroll, and Barrett may be our only option to change the trajectory of the game.

He was ready to flip last week and send Drew home if he didn’t win the Blockbuster competition.

Now, he’s desperate to work with LaTrice, Melody, Taylor, and Yash to lead an offense against the veterans.

Barrett was stunned that Hayley was picked over him during the Medieval games, so he’s aware that it’s time to flip.

The only way the flip will play out is if Devens is still on the block during the eviction.

Angela and Dee would be the only votes against Devens in that situation.

Barrett, Melody, Yash, and either LaTrice or Taylor would be the four votes to send the Survivor alum out of the house.

The good news is that the icons are starting to realize that they’re in danger here, but they’re going about securing Barrett’s vote the wrong way.

They’re turning it into a debate about jury votes and how none of the icons will vote for Drew or Barrett if they make it to the end.

It’s like they’re forcing loyalty out of them, when the icons haven’t done much of late to give either of them the notion that they’re that solid anymore.

This is part of the issue with the reality TV hit this season: the icons believe they should be loyal to everyone at this point.

It’s going to be a nail-biting few days in the house because there’s a high chance that Devens is going home on Thursday.
