Disney+ is developing a live-action reboot of the cult classic animated series “Gargoyles”.
The show was known for its darker thematic material and sword and sorcery storylines combined with sci-fi and other elements. The series followed a clan of nocturnal gargoyles who come alive at night and protect modern-day New York City. The reboot will follow Goliath, the last of a heroic race of gargoyle warriors who once lived among mankind, as he solves the mystery of his past while watching over modern-day New York City alongside police detective Elisa Maza.
The show will be written, executive produced, and showrun by Gary auberman, with James Wan’s Atomic Monster producing. Who would you like to see cast in the ‘Gargoyles’ reboot?
