A 90 Day Fiance star was sentenced in a child pornography case, but they are challenging all of this. Yet, it seems that they are fighting a losing battle. So, what is next for the former reality star? Keep reading for more details.
A 90 Day Fiance Sentencing
The 90 Day Fiance world is filled with scandal, and it makes viewers wonder why TLC does not vet their people better. There has been Geoffrey Paschel, who is currently serving 18 years and has been the subject of documentaries. Additionally, Leida Margaretha has had her share of run-ins with the law. Now, another cast member has been sentenced to over ten years behind bars for receiving, distributing, and possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Michael Eloshway was sentenced in 2024 to
- 10 years and 1 month (121 months) in federal prison
- 10 years of supervised release
- sex offender registration
- $20,000 in restitution
However, he feels that there were some problems in his case and that his attorney made errors. He had wanted a computer expert to review his case, which did not happen. Additionally, the 90 Day Fiance alum has asked for an expert, but the prosecution does not see the validity in this. Finally, he claimed that the downloading of this material was purely accidental and that he was searching for adult porn.
Now, Michael did state that his computer might have child sex abuse material in the files. However, they likely did not expect to find 7,000 files, which was his ultimate demise. He starred in Season 1 of the hit TLC series with his Russian-born wife, Aziza. She moved to America to be with Michael; they got married in 2013, and they welcomed a daughter, Olivia, in 2019. Moreover, they are still married, and she wrote a letter to the judge on behalf of her husband, expressing what a good man he was.
No One Is Buying What He Is Selling
The 90 Day Fiance alum is trying his hardest, as he likely does not want to be in jail for a decade. However, no one who has heard his excuse that the download was accidental believes him:
- Yeah I accidentally downloaded 700 files. Yeah okay
- Convenient to blame the lawyer after the fact. Let’s see how the court reacts to this.
- He should be remanded in the prison. No room for ped*philes in the society.
- Michael blaming his lawyer and trying to vacate the conviction… this story keeps getting messier
This is a very sad situation, and it is unclear what will happen to Michael’s wife and daughter. Moreover, she has not said what she will do now that he has been sentenced.
