90 Day Fiance fans watched the love story between Niles Valentine and Matilda Nti. Unfortunately, they did not have enough money to properly begin their lives, so Niles started a GoFundMe. He was asking for $8K and raised $16K, which was huge. Yet, after getting an update about Matilda on The Other Way and seeing where she lives, viewers are calling her out as a “grifter.” Keep reading for more on why they feel this way.
Matilda Nti Is Not What She Presented To Be
When Niles Valentine and Matilda Nti got married, he hoped he could bring her to America from Ghana. However, it was incredibly expensive, and he had lost his job. Therefore, it would take some time, meaning they would have to be apart for a while. Niles set up a GoFundMe to raise the funds to fulfill their dream, starting at $8K. He surpassed it, doubling his goal, which was a huge deal. Unfortunately, it appeared that this money never went to helping Matilda get to America, but rather to her living a much more lavish life.
As seen on the current season of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Matilda has a car and an upgraded family home. This is rubbing viewers the wrong way, as they believe the GoFundMe money did not go where it should have. She left her apartment with no idea that Niles is moving to Ghana permanently. However, it has been suggested that they live with her family since they have such a nice place. After a snap of the new Nti home was shared, many fans deemed Matilda a “grifter.” Moreover, they felt that she was a scammer who misappropriated funds.

She Cannot Be Mad At Niles
It appears that Matilda Nti is mad at Niles Valentine for not being able to file any of the proper paperwork. However, the 90 Day Fiance star helped to raise all of this money only to have his wife blow it any way she chose. Was he wrong to give her access to the funds? It appears he was. At the same time, some viewers think that they may be smarter to move to Ghana and settle down there:
