April Kirkwood Makes Rude Comment On Theresa Nist’s Post
April Kirkwood has been under fire after telling Theresa Nist publicly that she tried to warn her about Gerry Turner. Fans jumped into the conversation to let her know it was rude and uncalled for. What did she say?
In a now-deleted comment, April said, “I wish you the very best. I truly tried to tell you, but this was your lesson to experience. Much love!”
Leslie Fhima even contributed to the conversation by telling Theresa that she loves her. Many called April out on her harsh words. April replied to one fan and said she cares for all women in the world. She went on to say that she wants them to learn from each other.
April also said, “Lessons offer us the opportunity. We’ve all had our hearts broken … what we do with it is entirely up to us! Let’s rock this world Ladies. Therese [sic] can lead the way!”
She Publicly Apologizes
On Tuesday, April Kirkwood deleted her comment that many deemed rude and insensitive. She also issued an apology on the same post.
April said, “I would like to publicly apologize for my error in judgment. I sincerely meant no ill will. I wish all women only peace and power to be their best selves. This was not one for me. 😢 Much love and gratitude for understanding.”
While most thought April was wrong for her comments, there were a few who showed their support. Some fans said April didn’t do anything wrong and was only speaking what everyone else was thinking.
Others said they were glad she spoke up.
Other fans continued to criticize Theresa and Gerry for getting divorced so quickly after their wedding. There is also a lot of speculation that there is more to the story. Gerry rushed out and filed the divorce paperwork almost immediately after their big announcement on Good Morning America.
