Michelle Young Gets Honest About Anxiety
During her time on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor and her own Bachelorette season, Michelle Young gave off an air of confidence and poise. But it turns out much more is going on beneath the surface.
The elementary school teacher took to her Instagram earlier this week to share her battle with anxiety. Sharing several snapshots of different aspects of her life, she wrote, “The many faces of anxiety. In all of these moments I was internally battling intense anxiety in some form.”
In one photo, she is with a group of friends on a boat with a broad smile on her face. Another photo shows Young on an airplane wearing an eye mask, headphones, a neck pillow, and earphones.
Yet another photo shows her buried inside a hoodie, sleeping against a car door. The snapshot shows her holding hands with someone – perhaps her mystery man? – with a sweet dog sleeping on the headrest between them.
She posted the vulnerable photos to remind her followers that “mental health can be disguised in many different ways.”
The former Bachelorette recently launched a Patreon to share more about her life with fans.

However, she continues to soft-launch her relationship by keeping his name to herself for now. But it seems she is ready to share her newfound happiness with the world, even if we don’t know his name yet.
