Becca Devens has been keeping Survivor and Big Brother fans updated after she shared news of her breast cancer diagnosis. Since then, she has dealt with a lot of people taking advantage of the story. However, she recently had a lengthy update for fans, complete with a message.
Becca Devens’ Diagnosis Came Out Shortly After Her Husband Rick’s Big Brother 28 Win
Becca has been married to reality television personality Rick Devens since 2012. Many were introduced to him through his appearances on different seasons of Survivor. He later became the winner of Season 28 of Big Brother.
Recently, the family had harrowing news to share with fans. Shortly after Rick’s Big Brother win, Becca was diagnosed with a form of breast cancer.

Since then, Becca has notably had to deal with a number of people taking advantage of the story online. As previously reported, she shared that scammers were using the story to create fake GoFundMe accounts.
Following this, Becca shared another update with fans. While it hadn’t been easy to find, she had some positive news: “Lots to update. But essentially I had a massive scare on my MRI (two actually), then more biopsies of said scares, both of which are BENIGN. (Benign is good!)”
However, Becca continued, “Still have cancer in left breast but it doesn’t appear to have metastasized. Freaked me and my entire giant entourage out enough that I have appointments at Emory today because Sarah Tllnt is a BOSS BABE.”
Becca Called On Her Female Followers To Get Regular Mammograms
Looking back at the story so far, Becca mused, “So, yesterday and the day before were THE WORST and today I’m excited for lunch and Emory! Life is weird. Keep the prayers coming, please. I feel like this whole scary thing led me to Emory for a reason. The timing of my amazing Rick Devens coming home in time to be my rock is just absolutely a miracle. This all feels very purposeful to me. I am so lucky and blessed.”
As she concluded the post, Becca advised her fans not to put off mammograms. She emphasized, “Busy can wait. Cancer doesn’t. HAVE A GOOD DAY HALLELUJAH Byyyyeeeee.”

In the comments, fans expressed words of support with Becca following the news. Many of them also shared their own health journeys with her. Some comments included:
- “Becca, Benign is Beautiful!!! Continued prayers for you as you go through this journey.”
- “And even us small breasted women need mammograms! I gave up decades ago trying to find the hidden pea in the fake boob. I knew self-exams weren’t going to save me.”
- “My regular yearly mammogram found my breast cancer before it had spread. Get those mammograms!”
