Brittany Cartwright Granted Protective Order Against Jax Taylor

- Advertisment -

The Valley star Brittany Cartwright has been granted a protective order against her estranged husband, Jax Taylor. They have been going back and forth with he-said-she-said drama for some time. However, it was serious allegations of abuse and death threats that seemed to have sealed the deal. Keep reading for more details on what is happening next for the former Vanderpump Rules couple.

Brittany Cartwright Claims Jax Threatened To Kill Her

Vanderpump Rules fans have long said that Brittany Cartwright knew who Jax Taylor was when she married him. That may very well be true, as he stole sunglasses in Season 4 on their first couples trip to Hawaii. In Season 6, he cheated on her with Faith Stowers, and by Season 8, when they got married, he was completely unhinged. That has not changed, and as it turned out, his behavior was fueled by a twenty-year cocaine addiction. They were axed from VPR after Season 8 but helmed the spinoff, The Valley. However, the parents of Cruz, now 5, called it quits before the show even premiered on Bravo.

Brittany and her co-stars claimed that Jax would constantly fat-shame her and make her feel horrible about herself. He also threw a table at her during an argument, bruising her knee, which was one of the last straws. Jax then entered rehab in Season 2, but it never mattered. He has claimed she is the one holding up the divorce while consistently releasing rage texts and emails. Now, Brittany has filed a protective order alleging years of abuse. Furthermore, she alleged that Jax, 47, threatened to “gut [her] like a f–king fish” and “f–king kill” her.

Jax Taylor has also been holding her $70K wedding ring hostage, but Brittany added in her declaration that he called her “degrading and humiliating” names. These included “bitch”, “c–t”, “fat a*s b*tch”, “fatty”, “broke a*s b*tch,” and “wh*re,” all while Cruz bore witness. Additionally, she claims she was subjected to “coercive control, financial abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, gaslighting and even physical violence” at the hands of Jax Taylor.

Jax Has Moved On

Brittany Cartwright had snaps to prove the alleged abuse, but Jax Taylor has more than moved on. He is now dating her former publicist, Lori Krebs, and claims that he is in love. She will need to do some major damage control on this, as he can be unhinged. After Bravo fans and followers learned about the protective order, they had some questions:

  • Think this was years ago. It’s weird that she’s even trying this now
  • Agree he’s a dangerous person but confused on why she’s filing this 2 years after the fact
  • I’m not defending him. He deserved that order. Back then. Filing two years later on the same day he exposes her texts- that’s retaliation not fear.

Yes, fans are confused as to why she filed the order now as opposed to 2024. As aforementioned, the exes have been going back and forth with exposing texts and emails. However, this is very scary and sad. Hopefully, they can come to a resolution.
