Former Counting On star Derick Dillard has dropped a rare photo of his youngest son, Frederick, who’s six months old now. The baby boy arrived in July 2022 and joined Jill Dillard’s other two sons, Israel and Samuel. Though Jill is active on social media, she’s stopped sharing too many photos of her sons. Is Jill Dillard following in Jinger Vuolo’s footsteps?
Duggar fans have begun to wonder if Jill is taking after her sister Jinger Vuolo. This is because Jill seldom shares photos that show her sons’ faces these days. If she does post about them, she will only show the backs of their heads. This is similar to what Jinger does when she posts pictures of her daughters, Felicity and Evangeline. Jinger has been open about wanting to give her daughters privacy, though Jill has not confirmed that she has the same priorities for her kids.
Despite the fact that Jill doesn’t post pictures of her sons’ faces often, Derick Dillard did recently share a photo of Frederick, showing off his adorable looks.

On Instagram this week, Derick shared a new post as his family enjoyed a snow day. In the first snap, the father of three laid out in the snow in his swim trunks and a pair of flip-flops. This photo caught fans’ attention, of course. The second picture is of Derick hanging out with six-month-old Frederick indoors. As Derick smiled for the photo, his little boy looked up at him with a content and happy look on his face.
Below, you can see the precious snap of the proud dad and his growing baby boy.
The third photo in Derick Dillard’s post is of the snowman he built with Israel and Samuel. A few fans commented on Frederick’s adorable picture and pointed out his growth. One fan said, “is that baby Freddy?🥺 he’s gotten so big🥺” Another Duggar fan chimed in, “The baby looking up at Daddy really touches my heart.” Someone else added, “The baby is so cute too.”
“Oh my goodness the baby is so cute. The way he looks at you,” said one more fan.
