Yellowstone and Dutton Ranch executive producer Taylor Sheridan allegedly has beef with Cole Hauser. However, this is nothing new for the two, who have worked together for years. Taylor Sheridan & Cole Hauser Are Polar Opposites
Yellowstone viewers love what Taylor Sheridan was able to create regarding the characters that make up the hit series. Then, Cole Hauser brought Rip Wheeler to life, and the rest is history. That has spun off into Dutton Ranch, but this show has become somewhat of a sore spot for Hauser and Sheridan. They make a great series but cannot seem to meet in the middle. Allegedly, Hauser has a great work ethic but is a very chill and laid-back person. However, he has grown tired of Sheridan’s continued absence from the DR set.
Hauser has also been open about this, which has led to even more tension. However, the two are also polar opposites, which has led to continued tension, an insider shared, that has lingered for years:
“Cole has had beef with Taylor for a while. Taylor can be a harsh Texas guy. He is super straightforward and thinks fast, so he can come off as brutal, but he is just on top of his game, and he is brilliant. Cole is more casual, more surfer dude.”
They also added that Sheridan seems to just want people to work and be grateful for the jobs they have, which can be off-putting. At the same time, it has been alleged that the only actor who gets along with Taylor Sheridan is Billy Bob Thornton. Dutton Ranch has been renewed for a second season, so Sheridan and Cole Hauser need to get it together.
Nothing Without Cole
Dutton Ranch fans feel that Taylor Sheridan needs to be grateful and kind to Cole Hauser. Without him, he would no longer have a career, so he should think twice. If Hauser says that Sheridan is not being proactive enough, maybe there is some truth to this:
- Sheridan fired Costner…if he fires Hauser, the era of Sheridan is over.
- I love Sheridans shows but the vibes he gives off is he thinks hes God. Im sure the pay is good but im sure the work culture on the set is crappy
- I hope Cole knocks some sense into Sheridan.
- Sheridan is on the road to disaster. If he alienates his cast members, then his shows will suffer.
