For years, Janelle Brown handled the Brown family finances. She worked consistently and enjoyed the freedom that came with polygamy. Unfortunately, as the pandemic hit, Janelle saw how vicious Kody Brown truly could be. He wanted her to “evict” their sons, Gabe and Garrison, which she refused to do. Then, when she bought an RV and placed it on their land at Coyote Pass, he wouldn’t sleep in it with her and their daughter, Savanah. Kody stated that he had a beautiful home with his fourth wife, Robyn, so why would he sleep in an RV?
Janelle left the family at the end of 2022 and has yet to look back. She waited her time, and then she met Pete and things just fell into place. He has made her feel the way that she always wanted, and he has had a great calming effect on her. At the same time, Janelle noted that he has given her an amazing gift that has changed her life, but it is not tangible. Rather, she shared that Pete “pushes me to lighten up a bit.” She noted that she can be extremely serious, whereas he is very goofy, so it is a great balance:
