Jill Dillard announced on Sunday, February 27 that she’s pregnant with her third child. The Duggar daughter and her husband, Derick Dillard, already share two sons, Israel, 6, and Samuel, 4. Now, another little one will be joining their family in just a few months.
This news comes just a few months after Jill revealed that she had a miscarriage. In the fall, she shared her miscarriage news publicly with fans. Now, the family is thrilled to be welcoming their rainbow baby to the world.
Since the news broke, there has been a lot of discussion among fans. Some are wondering how Derick will support his family and whether he has gotten a job or passed the bar exam. Over on Reddit, Duggar fans and snarkers are talking about Jill Dillard’s pregnancy announcement. Several of them mentioned her due date and conception date. Interestingly, they assume that she must have figured out she’s pregnant around the time of Josh Duggar’s child pornography trial. Jill was spotted at the trial a couple of days.
One Reddit user wrote, “This means she was pregnant during the trial.” Someone else added, “No wonder she went AWOL after the trial.” Another snarker chimes in, “She would’ve found out she was pregnant right before the trial. Emotions must’ve been off the charts.”
Someone else says, “With this new information, I’m realizing that Pets’s trial was even harder for her than I originally thought. She was processing all of that stress and trauma while desperately hoping this little bean sticks.”
According to a reverse due date calculator, Derick and Jill Dillard would have conceived their baby sometime between October 8 and November 6 for a July due date. This means that she very well might have found out she is pregnant around the time of Josh Duggar’s trial. She could have gotten a positive pregnancy test within a matter of days of her brother’s trial.
