The full roster of troupe dancers for the ABC reality show will be revealed at a later date, but the addition of Peterson was a headline of the DWTS Con event today in Palm Springs, California.
Peterson, now 18, is a Latin ballroom dancer who has become a World ProAm Champion, a three-time Latin National Vice Champion, and a 12-time Latin Finalist. She also represented the United States at the Open World Championships in Paris, according to a bio shared by ABC.

She also attended several of DWTS Season 34’s live tapings, the magazine added.
Peterson loves teaching and mentoring the next generation of dancers, and she’s excited to bring that same energy to the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars, according to her bio.
