Ken Jennings Reveals Plan for if ‘Things Go Wrong’ in His Life

It’s a war between the Jeopardy! hosts. Well, not really, but Ken Jennings shared his evil plan for if “things go wrong” in his life, and it involves the host of the spinoff series — ESPN Jeopardy! and Pop Culture Jeopardy!.

On June 12, Jennings shared a photo of his Jeopardy! dressing room, which had Joe Buck and Colin Jost‘s suits in it. Buck is set to host ESPN Jeopardy! this summer on Disney+. Season 2 of Pop Culture Jeopardy!, hosted by Jost, just wrapped up on Netflix earlier this month. Jennings hosts the syndicated version, the tournaments, and the celebrity spinoff.

The outfits were not shown, as they were hanging in garment bags on a rack. The first one was for Buck, while the others had Jost’s name on them.

“If things really go wrong in my life, I’m going to raid my dressing room and sell off the other Jeopardy! hosts’ suits on eBay,” Jennings captioned the post.

The host was joking, of course. He won over $4 million on Jeopardy! from his 74-game streak and tournament wins. Plus, he earns a steady income from now hosting the game show. Jennings has also dipped his toe into the publishing world, with many books published. He also cohosts the podcast, Omnibus.

Fans reacted to the host’s plan in the comments. “Glad to know we share intrusive thoughts, Ken,” one Instagram user wrote.

“As is your right as the GOAT. Pretty sure it’s in your contract somewhere…” another said.

“I’m assuming those will all be donated to the Smithsonian one day,” a third added.

One fan encouraged Jennings to sell his own suits online. “There’s a market for them,” they commented.

“Great retirement planning,” a fan said. Many others commented with laughing and clapping emojis.

Some fans said they wanted Jost’s suit. Buck hosted the syndicated version of Jeopardy! for a period in 2021 when the game show was looking for a permanent new host after Alex Trebek‘s death, so there might be more of his outfits out there somewhere.

Jennings previously mentioned that he shares a dressing room with Buck when he shared what food the host keeps in his dressing room — smoked almonds and Red Vines.
