Mama June Shannon went on TikTok live and aired her late daughter, Anna Cardwell’s baby daddy drama. Anna passed away on December 9th, 2023 of adrenal carcinoma. She leaves behind two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kylee but it was the former who June was chatting about. Read on for more details.
Mama June Airs Anna’s Baby Daddy Drama
Since Anna Cardwell has passed away, fans have told Mama June to get off of social media. They feel she needs to be with her family and grieve. Yet, she cannot stay off of TikTok which she eventually shares to Instagram. She caught heat for filming Anna’s eldest child, Kaitlyn while they were out running errands. Plus, she was slammed for turning Anna’s funeral into somewhat of a circus. Now, June has gone live to share the story of Kaitlyn’s biological father as she now has custody of the eleven-year-old. Unfortunately for her, it did not land well at all.
A Reddit thread shared the clip of June chatting about the situation and she explained that Kaitlyn never had a biological father. More so, she shared that Anna tested six men to see who if one of them was the father of Kaitlyn. She was just a teenager when she had her first daughter and apparently, her family encouraged her to stop trying to figure out who the dad was. June then explained that Anna had been married before Eldridge but reiterated that they had been Kaitlyn’s family. Fans did not appreciate this whatsoever and let their feelings be heard.

A Mother Figure
Some fans were livid that Mama June was going to be the one to be raising Kaitlyn. It was also in poor taste to act as she had been around the entire time when Anna Cardwell was estranged from her mother for years. More so, she was discounting Anna’s husband and longtime partner, Eldridge Toney who had been there for Anna and her girls. Finally, one person questioned if June acting out was her coping mechanism. Ultimately, many saw this as a money grab and were over it.
