She was loyal to her Love Island costar, Rob Rausch, throughout the entire experience. However, he betrayed her in the end. To make up for it, he bought her a Birkin bag. Mark Ballas was also on the season with them. So, when Maura was chosen for the show, she knew she would love to be partnered with Mark, as she knew him beforehand.

Mark Ballas has admitted that he didn’t know if she would make it on Dancing With The Stars. This is because she was struggling to make it through challenges on Traitors.
“We have a joke. During the run, she was like, ‘Oh, I want to do Dancing with the Stars.’ I was like, ‘Maura, you can’t make it through a 45-minute challenge. How are you going to make it through 10 hours of rehearsal?’ She’s like, ‘I don’t want to carry my rocks in a backpack up a mountain. I want to learn how to dance,’ No, she’s working really hard. We’ve been having a lot of fun. Genuinely, I’ve seen it all on the show. I’ve been really impressed,”
So, now his opinion has changed. However, he was not sure how it was going to go at first. Maura is motivated to dance and do well. Fans are excited to see her in the upcoming season. However, they also wish Rob were on the upcoming season.
