Rumors are flying that McBee Dynasty will not return to Bravo for Season 4, and fans are livid. They love the drama and appreciate the ridiculous madness. Now, Steven McBee Jr. is speaking up about the family’s future with the network. Plus, he admits that much of the show’s “backlash” is his own fault. Steven McBee Jr. Is The Problem
McBee Dynasty fans watched as Steve McBee was sentenced to prison for federal crop insurance fraud. Many questioned if he took the fall for his sons, as they have all worked hard to try and keep the businesses running. Yet, did they always do it the proper and legitimate way? That is unknown, but regardless, Steve stepped back from the hit Bravo series and the family business. In stepped his ex-wife, Kristi McBee, to save the day and help wrangle everyone. Unfortunately, as much as things went up, they also went down.
Steven McBee Jr. broke up with his longtime girlfriend, Calah Jackson, and began dating Allie Eklund. On the show, they appeared happy and ready for whatever the future held. However, off-camera, he had called her out for cheating at Stagecoach. Allie and Calah subsequently teamed up against Steven as they claimed he had been abusive toward them both. This put a target on The McBee Dynasty cast, with Kristi claiming they were done.
Now, Steven Jr. is speaking up and taking the blame for his part. He admits that the McBees are very well taken care of, and he made a lot of mistakes:
“I have a lot of people that care about not only me but my family from the network down to production. We’re treated well. A lot of this online backlash is my own doing.”
Moreover, Steven has seen that he can be hotheaded and tends to move quickly. He wishes that he had not jumped so fast into his relationship with Allie and talked about marriage like he did. However, he also would like to work on how he reacts to situations because that is a red flag:
“A lot of this comes back to one person, and a person staring directly in the mirror at me. I would love to have the opportunity — a mulligan, I guess you could say — the chance to show people that I’m not this horrible person. I have anger issues. I’d be the first to admit that.”
Will The Family Be Back?
The big question is: will the family return for Season 4 of McBee Dynasty, especially after what Kristi McBee said? Steven McBee Jr. made it clear that his family tends to speak out of pocket and in “superlatives,” as he says. They do things in absolutes without thinking, when that may not be what they mean. As of now, anything is possible, and he is not ruling out their return. Fans want the show back, and that is really what matters. Moreover, viewers have noted how badly they need the money and exposure, so why would they turn it down?
