This fall, The Amazing Race returns for its 39th season on CBS. With no spring season in 2026, fans of the show have been deprived for nearly a year, and the race around the world is finally coming back with a two-night premiere on September 30 and October 1.
While Season 38 was full of familiar faces (all of the contestants came from the Big Brother franchise), this year’s cast is new to reality television. However, there may be two players who you recognize: American soccer players Ali Krieger and Joanna Lohman are teaming up to try and win the grand prize.
The oldest contestant on Season 39 is Doug, who ran the race at 73 years old with his grandson, Dylan, the youngest contestant on the season who is just 19 years old.
