Meanwhile, Season 2 will welcome new additions Ambika Mod as Laila, Babou Ceesay as Mr. Conteh, Sam Riley as Patrick, Neve Campbell as Cecile Mason, Sylvia Hoeks as Katia Chernov, Goran Kostic as Alexi Chernov, and Samuel Barnett as Jerry.

What is Black Doves Season 2 about?

Season 2 of Black Doves sees Helen (Knightley) still betraying her nation’s secret to the covert organization she serves, known as the Black Doves. After last Christmas’s misadventures, though, and her husband Wallace’s (Buchan) preparations to become Prime Minister, Helen’s carving an even more treacherous path. Meanwhile, Helen’s handler, Mrs. Reed (Lancashire), is ensnared in a plot to undermine her position in the Black Doves, and Helen is reunited with her best friend, Sam (Whishaw). As the pals search for answers, their loyalties are tested, and trust is shattered as they fight to protect their loved ones.

Series creator Joe Barton teased in a statement, “I couldn’t be more excited to delve back into the world of our murderous little spy family. To have so many of our amazing cast returning and also being able to add some of my absolute favourite actors into the mix is such a great joy. Downing Street will never be the same again…”
