Rachael Lindsay And Bryan Abasolo Are Ready To Start A Family

TV Shows

Rachael Lindsay and her husband, Bryan Abasolo, have plans to start a family in the near future. The couple met on the set of Season 13 of The Bachelorette. The season ended in August 2017, and the two have been going strong ever since.

Plans To Expand The Family

In a recent interview, Rachael said that she and Bryan have dreamt of starting a family for a while now. Unfortunately, it’s been a bit more complex than they had initially expected. She confirmed that they are actively trying to conceive. It’s been a long road, but they have started the process.

She then gushed about her bond with her two nephews and said she couldn’t wait to have that with her own children. Rachael also talked about how excited she and Bryan are to create memories and continue traditions from their own childhoods.

Rachael Wants To Immerse The Children In Both Of Their Cultures

As an interracial couple, Rachael and Brian are adamant about their children experiencing things from both heritages. One thing they know for sure is that since Lindsay was born and raised in Texas and Abasolo is from Colombia, they want their kids to be bilingual.

They’ve also had long discussions about helping their children navigate the world safely. Rachael is a social justice advocate who uses her platform to educate her followers about racial injustice. The couple also participated in protests for the Black Lives Matter movement. Lindsay said that it was crucial to her that Abasolo join her even though he isn’t black because their future children will be. She wants him to be fully aware of the issues they will face.

Rachael And Bryan Don’t Want Their Kids To See The Bachelorette At A Young Age

We all know that Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo met and fell in love while filming the reality TV series The Bachelorette. However, Rachael said they’d like to keep that part of their history quiet from their kids while they’re little. She understands that since we live in a world of technology, she won’t be able to keep it from them forever, but she doesn’t want them to see their mommy kissing another man on TV and wonder what’s going on.

Although their love story started out very public, they keep things much more private these days. It is so private, in fact, that when the rumor mill starts running about the next Bachelor Nation couple heading for divorce, people often assume it’s about Rachael and Bryan. Lindsay says the reason for staying out of the public eye is that the more public you are, the more people have opinions about your relationship. The couple chooses to live a private life to protect themselves from judgemental people and only post things that they want the world to know.
