Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Meredith Marks had been visibly refreshed, leading people to wonder if she had a facelift. She confessed that she had, and then she was wearing wigs. That made fans question if something went awry during the surgery. Now, she is breaking her silence on facelift complications, but what happened? Keep reading for more details.
Meredith Marks Does Not Think She Needs To Share
Whitney Rose has pointed out Meredith Marks’ penchant for wigs. She has pointed them out in her confessionals, despite Meredith never owning up to them. It is very obvious, but the RHOSLC star does not feel she needs to explain her hair choice. She stated that the other women wear extensions and do whatever they want with their hair. Therefore, she does not understand why they are so fixated on her. It was then confirmed that Meredith had a facelift, so there were questions about whether she was using the wigs to cover up scars.

To that, Meredith had this to say:
“Let me be clear. I have no visible scars to hide. My doctor is excellent. And no, they do not know why I am wearing a wig. I did not share that information.”
Now, she is breaking her silence on some complications that she had when she went under the knife. As it turned out, she had been a fan of threading, which can be a non-surgical alternative to a facelift. This is a procedure that Meredith’s co-star, Lisa Barlow, likes and costs around $3500. In any case, when Meredith went in for a facelift, her thread past came back to haunt her, per Page Six:
“I have done threads in the past, and that does create some complications when you go to do the facelift. It definitely does not help.”
Meredith Marks also noted that the threads recovery was far harder than the facelift, so she would get the latter all over again:
“The recovery was so easy from [the facelift], and threads recovery is not. I had a splitting headache, and I didn’t feel great after the threads.”
No More Wig Talk
It seems Meredith Marks is quite happy with what she has had done and is in a good place. However, she needs the ladies to stop fixating on her hair so much. She cannot understand their obsession and why they are trying to break her. However, maybe it is her silence that they are struggling with:
“It’s one thing when you make a little snarky remark … but when you are habitually insulting a woman’s appearance, that reflects on you. I don’t care if they think they’re hurting my feelings or not. I don’t care what they think. They should worry about their own hair.”
RHOSLC fans love and appreciate Meredith and believe the other women need to leave her alone. Moreover, they think she looks stunning and wish that they could look this good.
