With how many jobs Ryan Seacrest has, it’s no surprise he never stops talking. The Wheel of Fortune host admitted that he “keeps on talking” in a new video. Here’s how fans reacted.
“It’s just what I do. #NationalRadioDay,” he captioned the Instagram post on August 20. National Radio Day is celebrated on that day every year.
Seacrest sat down at his desk, in what is assumed to be the iHeartRadio offices. He held a microphone up to his mouth and mouthed the words, “Right when you think I’m gonna shut up, I keep right on talking. Ha ha ha ha.”
Along with Wheel of Fortune, Seacrest hosts the daily radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest, with Tanya Rad and Sisanie, where they talk about news, but also random topics.
He also hosts American Idol, as well as Dick Clark‘s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and various iHeartRadio and Disney programs, so he basically talks for a living. Seacrest also used to cohost Live with Kelly and Ryan and red carpets for E!.
Do fans think Ryan Seacrest talks too much? Here’s what they had to say.
“Talk the talk, Ryan! Bam!” one fan said.
“That was funny,” another fan commented.
“I love to hear you talking. Love your show,” a third added.
“Legends never shut up,” one fan said.
“Pls never stop,” an Instagram user commented.
“This and yap forevaaaa,” a follower added with clapping hands.
“Keep runnin’ that mouth!” another said.
“That’s right!” one last fan said. Many others commented with laughing emojis.
On the same day, Seacrest went on a rant on his radio show about the one thing that makes him irritable. When talking with his cohosts, he shared that the most common small talk is about the weather, particularly the heat.
“Heat and hunger frustrate you. Dare I use the I word, irritate you?” he said.
“There’s a difference between being angry and being irritated,” Seacrest went on. “I err on the irritated side, not the anger side. I don’t get angry. What’s the point? But irritation. Yeah.”
Seacrest continued on to say his cohosts yell at him and he doesn’t like it, but they said that it was just passion. “Or yelling,” he said. “Like when you guys yell at me, I think ‘Why?’”
“We never yell at you,” Rad defended.
“Yelling sometimes gets confused with passion,” Sisanie said.
“Not by me,” Seacrest replied. “I hear it as yelling.”
“You yell too. You’re not this innocent non-yeller over there,” Sisanie said.
“Yeah, but my yell has no decibel,” Seacrest defended.
“It has a pitch, though,” Rad said. “And that pitch packs a punch.” They all laughed before moving on to the next topic, which was another example of Seacrest just talking about anything.
