TV Shows

Sister Wives star Kody Brown claims he’s inundated with guilt as Season 19 continues.

In a teaser for the new episode, Kody admits he’s really struggling as he navigates life in his mid-50s. He created a beautiful image of what life should be in his head, but nothing has lived up to his expectations.

Now that he’s down to his last wife and has fractured relationships with most of his children, Kody Brown admits he can’t help but feel guilty about it.

Kody Brown Says He’s Struggling With Tremendous Guilt

In the new episode tomorrow night, fans will see Kody Brown describe how he regrets some of his actions involving the family. He doesn’t take accountability for all his poor decisions, but could this be a step in the right direction?

“I’ve lost a sense of direction for my life,” Kody shares in the clip. “There’s a struggle that I have because I had this big picture that got shattered. But I have a safe, kind, and sweet place with my wife Robyn. And then I have tons of guilt because I’m not more involved with everybody else that’s out there.”

Robyn goes on to explain that Kody has been lashing out at everyone because he’s secretly afraid she’ll leave him too.

“Kody’s been a very angry, upset, very lost person the last few years, and I have to recognize it for what it is,” the mother of five admits. “It’s just him in a painful place, and him in a place of fear that I will leave him too.”

Of course, Kody still has time to make amends with his children if he chooses to. He’ll just need to own up to his actions.

Janelle Wants To Be Done With Her Ex-Husband

In a teaser for tomorrow night’s episode, Janelle Brown tells Kody she’s done with their relationship. She asks him to buy her out of her share of Coyote Pass, but he immediately turns the conversation around and tries to talk about their future together.

But in this clip, it doesn’t seem like his guilt weighs on him at all.

“But I know that reconciling with her would require some kind of power game where I gave her all the power in the relationship. Which I think is fair, because I had it for so many years. But I’m not interested in that,” he says.
