Saturday Night Live UK roasted President Donald Trump‘s new hair in the “Weekend Update” of its Season 2 premiere.
On the Saturday, September 12 episode of SNL UK, “Weekend Update” co-hosts Ania Magliano and Paddy Young took aim at the POTUS following his darker hair transformation in early September.
“This week, President Trump stepped off Air Force One sporting a different hair color,” Magliano reported. “Yeah, he appears to be trialling a new shade of brown. Or, he’s shat his head.”
Young added, “People are questioning: Does the carpet still match the drapes? I wouldn’t know. That’s between the president and the punchline that just a second ago was taken from me by our legal team. Thank you, legal team, it was almost funny.”

On September 4, Trump made headlines when he debuted a much darker hair color, seen in photos of him disembarking from Air Force One at Morristown Municipal Airport in Morristown, New Jersey. The POTUS returned to his signature blond look just days later.

SNL UK’s “Weekend Update” co-hosts didn’t stop their political jabs at the U.S. president. Magliano and Young also addressed Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s son, Prince George, heading off to Eton College with a jab at both former Prince Andrew and the school’s reputation.
“How will he survive being stuck in a place famous for producing sexual abusers?” Magliano pointed out. “By leaving it and going to Eton College.”
Additionally, SNL UK’s cold open mocked other members of the British royal family — including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, following their move back to Britain.
