The View took to Twitter yesterday to announce the show was BACK after taking a bit of a summer break. While there is no denying there were a handful of individuals celebrating the return with new episodes, the tweet was flooded with negative responses from people who admitted they just didn’t care that the show was returning.

The View Returned Live With Hot Topics Today
Posted yesterday, the tweet informed fans of The View that hot topics would officially return from summer break today (July 10th). The post came equipped with a photo of Whoopi Goldberg with a huge smile on her face as she welcomed fans back in for new live episodes.
Now, there were some fans who admitted they rushed to their DVRs to make sure they did not miss the new episodes of The View. The overwhelming majority, however, didn’t seem to be too happy with the news of the show’s return. In fact, some viewers admitted things were “so peaceful” without new episodes of The View.

Viewers Rip Return Of The Show
One individual referred to The View panel as “the thought police” and questioned who decided they should voice opinions on hot topics to begin with. Another individual noted that ABC needed to consider canceling the series. At the very least, the individual said the network needed to wipe the panel and get some fresh faces on the show.
Whoopi Goldberg and the rest of the panel were also ripped by viewers for not doing a very good job of picking the right hot topics to discuss. Some viewers questioned if The View would discuss the new movie called The Sound Of Freedom or if they would avoid the topic the way most celebrities and mainstream media have.
