Fans Claim Usher Used Lookalike On Sold-Out Tour
Usher collaborated with Chris Brown on the 2014 hit “New Flame” and 2016’s “Party.” They reunited in 2026 for the hottest tour of the summer. Thousands of fans have packed stadiums across the country to see the “R&B Tour,” a play on the artists’ last names, Usher Raymond and Chris Brown.
Both performers bring women from the audience on stage to perform sexy dances with them. Footage from the concerts is all over social media. One viral video claimed that a married woman was kicked out of her home after her tawdry dance with Chris Brown. At another show, a woman was escorted off stage by security after appearing uninterested in dancing with Usher. He warned the audience: “Before we get started, don’t bring your a** up here if you don’t wanna be here.”
Now, fans have accused the singer of not bringing himself to the stage. When Usher took the stage at MetLife Stadium on August 7, the audience was convinced that it was a lookalike. “Usher you can’t fool New York that’s not you bro i want my money back,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

Usher Breaks Silence After ‘Clone’ Rumors Go Viral
Claims that Usher sent a “clone” on stage in his place were all over social media after the MetLife concert. Fans posted videos from different angles, analyzing “Usher’s” facial features and movements. They all came to the conclusion that it wasn’t Usher.
The “OMG” singer finally addressed the speculation that he used a “clone” during his tour with Chris Brown. The official R&B Tour Instagram shared one viral video from the MetLife concert. The video had two comments from Usher overlaid on it. “Ya’ll are funny…clone? They can’t clone this??” the first comment said. Usher included a laughing emoji at the idea that he could be cloned.
“How ya’ll come up with this? AI ain’t that advanced,” the singer said in another comment. Despite his denial of using a clone, fans still questioned if it was Usher in the video. But the clone speculation won’t hurt ticket sales. His tour with Chris Brown continues through December, with most dates already sold out.
