Zach Bates and his wife, Whitney have four young kids. Bradley is almost eight years old, Kaci is six years old, Khloé is almost three years old, and Jadon is 16 months old.
Bringing Up Bates fans may recall hearing about the birth of Zach and Whitney’s fourth child, Jadon in June 2021. After his birth, he had a very rough and scary start to his life. The baby boy even ended up on life support.
Fortunately, now, he’s a healthy and happy 16-month-old and doesn’t seem to have any lasting issues after his time in the NICU.
But according to Whitney Bates, he’s been hit with an illness this week. She let fans know what is going on with the little guy.
Whitney Bates shares a health update on Jadon.
On her Instagram Stories this week, Whitney shared a new photo of her youngest child, Jadon. The 16-month-old is snuggling up against his mama. He has a pacifier in his mouth and a cozy blanket on his lap.
Whitney Bates revealed to fans what’s going on. She said, “Ear infection & allergies mean extra cuddles the past couple days with this little guy.”
Then, she added, “It’s always so hard seeing your babies not 100%.”
You can see the photo she shared below. From the picture, it’s easy to see that he looks a little bit sad or sick.
Thankfully, despite Jadon’s scary first days of life, he seems to be doing okay with his allergies and ear infection. Whitney didn’t share any concerning details in her post. She’s good about keeping fans updated on her family’s health, so she will likely share more details if Jadon’s illness gets worse or if he ends up in the hospital.
Hopefully, Jadon will have a smooth recovery after spending time on the couch snuggling with his mama and helpful older siblings. Stay tuned for another update from Whitney soon. Though she didn’t specifically request prayers, she would likely appreciate it if fans kept her little one in their thoughts.
