Orlando Bloom is set to play an American linguist in a series based on Maggie O’Farrell’s This Must Be the Place. Bloom is also an executive producer on the project, which follows Daniel Sullivan, a New Yorker living in Ireland with his reclusive ex-film star wife. Their idyllic life is threatened by a secret from Daniel’s past, and the series will explore the redemptive power of love and the unexpected consequences of our past choices.
